SHED BOARD has been operating the Integrated Social Development Program in Pakhirchala and Bhaaluka under Mymensingh District since 1986. The program has been designed for improving the socio economic status of the less fortunate, neglected and the marginalized people of the Garo and Bengali communities living in the working areas through these activities i) group formation, ii) awareness building, iii) capacity enhancement through training, iv) promotion of IGA v) installation of tube-well & latrine vi) pre-education to children vii) savings and credit support.
