Baptist Mission Girl’s School Hostel was established in 1914 at the same time as the school was founded by BMS Missionary Rev. William Carey, who was the grandson of Rev. Dr. William Carey. This hostel is running under the guidance of Bangladesh Baptist Church Sangha (BBCS). The BMS missionaries  observed that there was no suitable school and hostel over the southern part of Bangladesh where the children from poor villages could study. So they established these facilities and over the years many hundreds of  lives have been transformed by this opportunity.

In the beginning BMS missionaries managed this school & hostel with their financial support, but now the Sangha (BBCS) is fully responsible for the running of both the school and hostel under the leadership of their own Headmistress and Warden.
