What We Believe
As part of the global Baptist family, BBCS holds firmly to the authority of Scripture and the centrality of Jesus Christ.
Key tenets of our faith include:
- Belief in the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
- The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for our salvation
- The authority of the Old and New Testaments as God’s inspired Word
- Believer’s baptism by immersion
- The priesthood of all believers and congregational worship
- Christian mission and witness are a duty for every believer
- Commitment to religious freedom, justice, and human dignity
- Stewardship of God’s creation
- Hope in Christ’s return and the new heaven and earth
