The Baptist Mission Training Centre was established in 2024-2025 in response to the 225 year declaration of BBCS. Our declaration recognised that we needed our own training centre alongside the close partnership that we have with CCTB (College of Christian Theology Bangladesh). We recognised that we needed a centre for :
At present BBCS has 181 Pastors serving 390 churches. Our big vision is to have a trained Pastor serving every church, 20 of whom will be women. These people will need training. BBCS also has a vision to plant 40 new churches by 2032. These church planters will need training. Every church needs a team of women and men working with the Pastors for it’s health and smooth running. Therefore we also need leadership team and emerging leader training. All of this means that we have an exciting challenge ahead.
The BBCS Baptist Mission Training Centre is on the middle floor of the BBCS central office in Dhaka. The BMTC office and training facilities are all based here with equipped training rooms, study rooms and resource/library facilities:
